You'll have everything you need without having to leave Squaw Valley
The Village at Squaw Valley is a really nice and luxurious place. Since Squaw Valley is kind of tucked away outside the main area of Tahoe, they really made this place into its own village so you don’t have to leave. You have everything right there, restaurants, shopping, hotels and it’s all more upper scale stuff. But the best thing is that it’s right next to the lifts, so you can just get right on the ski lifts from there and then ski right down to the hotel or take a lunch break at one of their great restaurants. The village part with all the great shops and restaurants is kind of tucked away behind some buildings and the main lodge, so be careful you don’t miss it.
