- The Dirt Camp: Learn all you need to know at the two-day instructional mountain bike camp. It teaches everything from basic riding skills for beginners to advanced techniques for experienced riders. World-class professional mountain bike racers teach participants with elite-level coaching and training methods.
Inside Knowledge: You don't have to spend exorbitant amounts of money when you go biking, and that's one reason the activity is so popular. If you don't want to use the chairlifts, Northstar at Tahoe Bike Park allows bikers to enjoy cross country riding in the park for free. Pick up a "Pedaling Only" pass from the Tickets + Season Pass Office or the Plaza Bikes Shop.

- Do Get A Map: Find your way around with ease by using the mountain bike trail map. You can plan your adventure route before you start and then take off to your chosen destinations.
- Do Look At The Trail Report: Find out on the website if the trails are clear and good to go, or if they might be covered in snow (and closed). The trail report also shows you the difficulty level of each trail (less difficult, more difficult, most difficult, experts only, and skills development areas/jump park).
- Don't Pass Up A Package Deal: With the "Stay & Bike FREE" package, lodging, two all-day biking lift tickets, and two $10 food coupons.
- Don't Get Hurt: Take lessons so that you can better understand the terrain and how to maneuver upon it on your mountain bicycle.
