July 4th Celebration
North Lake Tahoe July 4th Fireworks
Kings Beach- This annual fireworks display takes place on July 3 at 9:30pm. North Tahoe Event Center will host a beach party starting at 2pm with live music, food, vendors, and more.
Squaw Valley USA- free
Tahoe City- Celebrate 66 years of fireworks at Commons Beach at 9:30pm. This family friendly event is popular, so plan to arrive early and picnic.
Incline Village- Traditional Red, White, and Tahoe Blue festivities will occur July 4-6. The event includes bands, doggie dress-up contests, beer tasting and brats, a carnival and BBQ, the firecracker trail trek, and much more. Free fireworks show off of Incline Beach.
Truckee- Fireworks show will start at West End Beach at Donner Lake at dusk. Tickets cost $6/person and guests must provide proof of residency before purchasing the tickets ahead of time at the Truckee Donner Recreation and Park District. Don't miss the free Truckee 4th of July Parade at 10am along Donner Pass Road.
South Lake Tahoe July 4th Fireworks
- Tahoe South's Lights on the Lake Fireworks will start at 9:45pm on July 4 and are visible from all over the South Shore. The 4th of July fireworks display in South Lake Tahoe is rated "one of the top 5 fireworks displays in the nation" by the American Pyrotechnics Association. Watch the display from Nevada Beach, Timber Cove Marina, or El Dorado Beach for some of the best views.
