Event Overview: The Tahoe Institute for Natural Science (TINS), Sugar Pine Foundation and Explore Tahoe: An Urban Trailhead Visitor Center, and the Tahoe Rim Trail Association team up and head up to Van Sickle Bi-State Park for a fun and educational short journey. This trip highlights forest health and ecology in the basin, using the Gondola Fire burn area as a perfect setting for learning about such topics. Explore Tahoe will provide a light lunch. If you want to learn more about Tahoe’s unique place in the field on forest management, conservation, and health, join us and become an educated steward of the land!
