Cornice Cantina is a casual place to eat after a day of skiing
Squaw Valley is a really cool place. You really get that whole mountain vibe up there that can sometimes get lost when a place has too many things. Even though there’s not a lot in Squaw, they’ve made it almost into its own little village and there are several restaurants to chose from. I ate at the Cornice Cantina after skiing one day and it was pretty good. There are a few more fine dining restaurants in Squaw, but this isn’t one of them. Its in the parking lot of Squaw connected to a desk to buy lift tickets, you can’t miss it. It’s a super casual joint, everyone was in their ski suits and sunglasses. They have a really nice outdoor patio, but it was full so I sat at the bar inside. It’s just a chill place to just get some tacos and some cheap beer. The tacos were actually pretty good. I went right as the lifts stopped for the day, so it was super packed and the wait was kind of long, but other then that, it’s a nice place to get a bite to eat when you’re hungry after a day of skiing.
