Way better food than you would expect
This restaurant is way better than you would think. I was staying at the Horizon Casino, and I was really hungry but didn’t want to walk very far, so this was pretty much the only option. It was midday and I just wanted a snack. I wasn’t expecting much because the Horizon is pretty much a dump. I ordered a buffalo chicken salad (the waitress recommended it), and to my surprise, it was actually really tasty. I was expecting crap food, considering where the restaurant was located, but it really wasn’t. It was a really good, fresh salad!
The place was pretty empty and it looked pretty old inside. Every other customer in the restaurant was pushing 80, and it does remind me of a restaurant for seniors. However, the food was actually pretty legit and the service was good. I wouldn’t necessarily go out of my way to eat here again or anything, but it’s definitely a nice spot for a quick bite if you’re in walking distance.
