The summer solstice is this Friday, June 21st, which means it’s officially summer. So come on out and celebrate the onset of the summer season at the Tahoe Heart and Solstice Festival!
Start the weekend early at the Solstice Stroll Classic Car Show on Thursday, June 20 from 6 to 8pm. Tahoe City’s North Lake Boulevard will fill up with classic and collectible automobiles sure to entice any car fanatic!
On Friday, June 21, follow the sounds of music to The Bridgetender Fireworks Fundraiser Street Dance at 7pm. The Bridgetender Restaurants will host the street party and offer specially priced food and drinks on its patio. While the event is free, a portion of the proceeds will go toward the Tahoe City Independence Day Fireworks.
Then kick off the official start to summer with some fine wine and gourmet food at the Tahoe City Wine Walk on Saturday, June 22 from noon until 4pm. Finalize the weekend of festivities with the opening day of the summer concert series at Commons Beach on Sunday, June 23, at 3pm. Pack a picnic, bring a lawn chair, and check out the free concert starring the Trey Stone Band. Not ready to stop celebrating the start of summer after the concert? Well luckily the music won’t stop there! After the Commons Beach concert, mosey over to Jake’s on the Lake for a free concert with Ike & Martin at 7pm.
