We Recommend:
- Seafood Linguini: Restaurant at Camp Richardson Resort in Tahoe shines with this entree, a creamy concoction of noodles, shrimp, clams, scallops and salmon. The white wine cream sauce coats the seafood and noodles, and you get crisp garlic bread on the side.
- Killer Mac N' Cheese: Bring on the creaminess with this favorite dish at The Beacon Bar and Grill Tahoe. Vermont white cheddar gives this mac n' cheese the ultimate kick, and this pasta comes with bread crumb topping too.

Great Food Right On the Lake
The Beacon is awesome! First off you HAVE to try their clam chowder! It’s to die for. That was the best part of the entire meal.
The Beacon sits right up against the water, so if you go during the daytime, you get gorgeous waterfront views of the lake. Dinner during sunset is probably the best time to go. During the summer, there’s an awesome outdoor patio area.
The restaurant is really casual during the day, and at night they seem to bust out the white tablecloths and make it into a fancier place.
Be sure to ask for what’s on special. When I was there, it was $2 draft Coors Light. Score! For my entree, I got the Surf & Turf Salad, which the waiter recommended. Excellent choice! It was a nice light salad with steak and shrimp (the shrimp was the best part).
I’d definitely recommend the Beacon anytime. It’s a little pricey, but the food is awesome, the service is great and you get awesome views of the lake while you enjoy your meal.

great views
The views are spectacular! However, you will pay for them! If traveling the shore of Lake Tahoe by boat this over-priced tiki bar will be very convienent. If traveling by car or bike save your money and ask your concierge for other options. The staff believes they are doing you a favor so dont expect them to go the extra mile or for that matter even smile! Done it once-enough.

beautiful location
I luv the beach and music but the service was slow and we felt very rushed. I was astonished they priced thier frozen re-heat meals as handsomely as they have. Business must be steady with fresh victims! open your wallet and enjoy the liquor because the food will taste better after a few!
