This year, Tahoe SummerFest kicks off in July and lasts until late August. Visitors can enjoy the best concerts and performances from inspirational artists and musicians from all around the country.
What to Expect: Celebrating its second year, SummerFest in Lake Tahoe strives to build and strengthen its cultural community through arts and education. Visitors are invited to bring their whole family to Tahoe SummerFest to enjoy and celebrate classical music at its finest.
- SummerFest Concerts: These Lake Tahoe concerts feature the finest instrumentalists from around the country, including members of the New York Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic and Seattle Symphony. Guests can hear their favorite classical pieces in a series of evening concerts.
- Shakespeare Festival: The Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, held in Sand Harbor, has been in production for more than 40 years and is local town favorite. This comedic rendition acts out Shakespeare’s most recognized plays. Prior year performances have included A Midsummer Night's Dream.
- Soloists: The SummerFest Concert series has featured world-renowned soloists including Federica von Stade, Meredith Clark, Chris Brubeck, and more!
Inside Knowledge: The SummerFest concert series features Sunday Afternoon Family Concerts, which present classic pieces that will entertain the entire family.
