Sierra Fin = Tahoe's Best
We recently went out in late November with Captain Gerald of Sierra Fin Addicts. Gerald was extremely communicative, and we were talking on a daily basis before our planned outing due to the changing conditions (extremely windy). Our scheduled day got pushed out because of the conditions, and Gerald was beyond accommodating and juggled his schedule to get us out as soon as the lake was fishable again. In addition, he was super flexible and was even willing to pick us up at our dock in Sunnyside (which is a trek from Incline). We ended up meeting in the middle but point being, from our first conversation, it was evident that Gerald was passionate about Tahoe fishing and exceeding client expectations.
We started off the morning with a double hook-up on Macs within 10 minutes and limited out by 8:30 (even after releasing several smaller fish). Once done with the Macs, Gerald took us into the shallows to fish for rainbows. We caught several nice rainbows --two of which were 5lbs -- and ended the day how we started, with a double hook-up.
Gerald's boat and gear are top notch and his experience and knowledge of Tahoe are beyond compare. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him and great conversation. My 8-year old was beaming for two days after our trip; the attached pics represents three generations of fisherman with 1) three nice native Tahoe rainbows 2) limit of Macs
The day could not have been any better - A+ across the board, and we will be back without a doubt.
You cannot go wrong with Sierra Fin Addicts; I highly recommend them.
