Three restaurants: The Poolside Café, Alexander's Café and the Terrace Restaurant all serve delights to tempt any appetite. 

High Camp is also the gateway to Squaw Valley's gentle mountain - top beginner area, bringing an exciting total mountain experience to all abilities.

At night, High Camp glows with fun and attractions beneath the moon and stars. Enjoy night skiing down our 3.2 mile Mountain Run, or ride Central Park under the the lights. Other evening activities include the Olympic Ice Pavilion, snowtubing and spectacular dining overlooking Lake Tahoe.

Gold Coast, el 8,200'

At the top of North America's only Funitel you'll find Gold Coast, Squaw Valley's upper mountain crossroads and gateway to two half-pipes and terrain parks at Central Park. Complete with three restaurants levels, sundecks, and views of expansive open bowls, Gold Coast is a great place to relax with friends and family between runs.

A Great Mountain Deserves a Great Village - The 13 acre pedestrian village is to built in four phases, and represents a total investment of $250 million. Upon completion, the village will include a total of 640 mountain homes and 80 boutique shops, restaurants and 250 underground parking spaces located at the base of the resort.
New Far East Entrance - To compliment the new Village at Squaw Valley, plans are to convert was the Opera House Cinema into the "Far East Guest Services Center," complete with a new 6-passenger detachable transportation chairlift. The new Far East lift will replace the current Papoose lift, offering faster, easier and more convenient access from the resort's eastern parking areas to Snow King  Peak, the widened Easy Street trail and the slopes of Squaw Valley USA. The new Far East Guest Services Center will include rentals, ski school, retail and ticket sales, a guest information center as well as additional restroom facilities.

Night Skiing on the Mountain Run - 3 miles - 2,000 vertical ft. of groomed intermediate terrain. Access is provided via our warm, fully-enclosed Cable Car. Central Park, our halfpipe and terrain park, is fully lit and has a pumping sound system for ripping night sessions.

Snowboard Packages

The Snowboard Packages are offered through Alternative Edge Snowboard Rental located in the Olympic House. The two hour group lesson is for persons 13 years of age or older. You will be taught by a trained snowboard Pro on how to balance in motion, diagonal traverse in both directions, how to turn, stop and how to properly ride a lift. Safety and slope etiquette will be stressed, along with the proper riding technique.

These packages can be purchased at Ski School, Far East Center, the Rental Shop, or any ticket portal.

Group lessons are offered every hour on the hour beginning at 10am.

*Beginner lift ticket is good for the Papoose area, the Cable Car, and Links, Bailey's Beach, and Belmont lifts only.

Skating & Swimming

Olympic Ice Pavilion:

Come experience the exhilaration of ice skating from the top of the world! Ice Skating operates daily from 11am - 9pm. Late season - April 16 through May 28, 11am to 4pm.

Snowtubing

Come cruise the white stuff on our custom snowtubes. If you've never "tubed" before, it's a blast. Our expansive tubing park is located at High Camp adjacent to the Bailey's Beach chairlift. Call for hours.
